Uptown Lexington Social District
The City of Lexington has designated the Lexington Social District to allow individuals to enjoy alcoholic beverages served by approved establishments in a specific district cup within the district boundaries.
The Lexington Social District will operate 7 days a week, 10 a.m. to midnight, excluding the day of the Lexington BBQ Festival.
The district boundaries are identifiable by posted signs and the map below.
How can I participate in the Lexington Social District as an individual?

If you're 21 or older, you will be able to order an alcoholic beverage in a district cup at a participating establishment during the district's hours. No outside alcohol is permitted within the district.

You can then enjoy your beverage throughout the district and within establishments and stores that allow beverages.

You must dispose of the beverage before leaving the district or entering a vehicle.
